IP Special Edition: „Sicheres Deutschland. Frieden bewahren als gemeinsame Aufgabe“ (In German)

In collaboration with the journal Internationale Politik (IP) of the German Council on Foreign Relations (DGAP), the Advisory Board Civilian Crisis Prevention and Peacebuilding is publishing a special edition examining how external crises and threats impact internal security—and how prepared Germany is to address them.

The issue opens with an article by PD Dr. Julia Leininger and Dr. Jana Puglierin on the interplay between external and internal security. Across 64 pages, Advisory Board members PD Dr. Julia Leininger, Dr. Jana Puglierin, Dr. Kira Vinke, and Prof. Dr. Anita Ghodes—along with other authors—examine in three chapters how Germany is positioned, what role it plays internationally, and how German security policy is viewed from the outside.

The complete issue can be found here: Sicheres Deutschland | Internationale Politik (In German)

Thinking Ahead at the Berlin Peace Dialogue 2026
