Save the Date: Berlin Peace Dialogue 2025
The international rules-based order is under increasing pressure due to escalating crises and wars around the globe. As Russia’s war of aggression against Ukraine continues into its 4th year, European countries are facing an increasing number of hybrid attacks: Be it sabotage in the Baltic Sea, cyber-attacks on critical infrastructure or the spread of political disinformation, the European nations are struggling to find a comprehensive approach to countering hybrid attacks against their countries, at home and in mission areas of international crisis management abroad.
At the 2025 edition of the Berlin Peace Dialogue, the Advisory Board to the Federal Government for Civilian Crisis Prevention and Peacebuilding will offer its expertise on the topic, focusing on the role of civilian crisis prevention in dealing with hybrid threats: How can hybrid attacks be classified? What role does disinformation play? What do they mean for Germany’s concept of Integrated Security? What options for counteraction exist for civil society, researchers, and political decision-makers?
Further information on registration and the program will follow in mid-August.
