The current Russian war of aggression against Ukraine is likely to determine the peace and security policies in Germany for many years to come. In the current situation, it is important to have open debates and to involve German society in a new foreign, peace and security policy, with which Germany assumes greater responsibility for peace worldwide. Therefore, in this statement on the Russian war of aggression against Ukraine, the Advisory Board for Civilian Crisis Prevention and Peacebuilding formulates recommendations to actively meet the growing challenges of multiple crises.
