Impressions and Recording of Berlin Peace Dialogue 2024

In a world of increasing and ever more complex crises, Civilian Crisis Prevention and peacebuilding efforts must be strengthened all the more efficiently and sustainably. What this could and should look like was the focus of this year's Berlin Peace Dialogue at the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) under the title ‘The importance of crisis prevention and peacebuilding in an age of geopolitics’.

The Berlin Peace Dialogue 2024 provided a platform for this importance as well as discussions on the future and role of partnerships, international responsibility and the relevance of conflict-sensitive, human rights-based and inter-departmental approaches. Once again, the Federal Government’s Advisory Board on Civilian Crisis Prevention and Peacebuilding brought together experts from across ministries and international networks at its annual conference. This year, Federal Minister for Economic Cooperation and Development Svenja Schulze gave a keynote speech and discussed with members of the Advisory Board.

You can find more impressions as well as pictures from the graphic recording on the event page.
