Impact Analysis of German Civil and Military Contributions to the Multinational Engagement in Afghanistan 2001–2021

On the Position Statement

An independent and interministerial evaluation of German civil and military contributions to the international engagement in Afghanistan is necessary in order to identify the causes of, and responsibilities for, the failed Allied cooperation, and set out what can be learned and applied to a future policy of crisis management and prevention, stabilisation and peacebuilding. In its position statement, the Advisory Board for Civilian Crisis Prevention and Peacebuilding has set out the requirements applicable to the impact analysis.
